Lead Engineer Coating (m/w/d)

Your responsibilities

• You are the technical and disciplinary leader of our coating team, consisting of approx. 4 production engineers and technicians
• You will be responsible for maintaining and improving process capability, increasing plant availability and increasing production yields
• You will further develop our technologies and introduce new technologies into production
• You will support the R&D department and other production areas in the implementation of projects, improvements and optimization measures on production technology equipment and systems
• You create and optimize the specification of standard plant engineering solutions for the process step and develop new solutions based on existing machines and systems as well as on experience from the process, operation and maintenance

Requirements

• You have successfully completed your university or college degree in natural sciences, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or process engineering and have a comparable qualification
• You have already gained several years of professional experience in the photovoltaic or microchip industry, initial management experience is an advantage
• You can demonstrate knowledge of statistical control and analysis methods, ISO 9001 quality standards, Six Sigma and lean manufacturing
• You have very good analytical skills and work in a solution- and process-oriented manner
• You have strong team integration skills, are very communicative and able to deal with conflict
• You are willing to occasionally travel nationally and internationally
• Very good written and spoken English skills round off your profile
