20th Anniversary – a milestone we’re proud of!
This year we are celebrating our 20th anniversary—two decades filled with ideas, challenges, growth, and shared successes. What once began as a vision is now a company that stands for reliability and innovation. This journey would not have been possible without the people behind the scenes: our amazing team, loyal customers, and strong partners who have stood by us throughout the years.
How have our employees experienced the past 20 years?
"Looking back, the early years of AVANCIS GmbH seem to me to have been a particularly exciting and dynamic time. Our team was bolstered by colleagues with production experience whom we were to meet on site. We all traveled to Torgau in two tour buses that were only half-full to view the future construction site of Factory 1. Care was taken to ensure that experts from the same process were not on the same bus—in case of a serious accident, the project would still be able to continue", smiles Dr. Thomas Niesen.
“I remember the ups and downs I’ve experienced together with AVANCIS,” says Bettina Patitz. “We felt a wonderful sense of community at the factory’s opening when we all made music together—everyone was handed a drum, and off we went.”
