We support the BIPV initiative sponsored by the Ministry of the Environment Baden-Württemberg

Integrating of our SKALA thin-film photovoltaic modules directly into an otherwise unused building envelope is a great way to actively support the global energy transition.
our vision

Nature is our energy

We believe in the responsible use of social, economic and ecological resources. With our solutions and products, we want to advance the global energy supply through renewable energy sources. Our declared goal is to establish the possibilities of building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) among the general public.

In recent years, in germany various federal states have put the topic of building-integrated photovoltaics at the top of their agendas. For example, the Ministry of the Environment of Baden-Württemberg is promoting the "BIPV Initiative Baden-Württemberg", which was jointly launched by three institutes: Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE), Centre for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg (ZSW) and Konstanz University of Applied Sciences - Technology, Economics and Design (HTWG).

As part of this initiative, an online guide has now been created, a project database with which BIPV projects that have already been successfully realised are available to the interested public in the form of profiles with information on the building and the integrated photovoltaics. Within this BIPV research project, the initiative also offers concrete support in the form of consulting services on BIPV topics.

We support this initiative and are represented in the project database with the great Westspitze Tübingen project.
