Specialist customs (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for ensuring compliance with the applicable customs regulations for national and international imports and exports
• You are in close contact with the departments Sales, Purchasing, Logistics and Accounting and act as the main contact person for customs issues
• You advise internally on the import and export of various materials in accordance with requirements
• You ensure the professional and timely transport of the products (packaging, insurance coverage, deadline tracking, etc.)
• You will issue the necessary goods accompanying, freight and customs documents for deliveries and keep the necessary control reports
• As contact person for customers, suppliers, service providers and authorities you continuously develop our customs and export processes

Requirements

• You have successfully completed your apprenticeship as a freight forwarding merchant or freight forwarding and logistics services merchant or comparable
• You have comprehensive knowledge of the applicable customs regulations
• You have already gained several years of professional experience in a company in the logistics sector or in the logistics area in an industrial company
• Working with Microsoft applications is a standard for you, ideally you have first experiences in working with SAP
• You keep track of all important information, even under time pressure
• You convince with your communication skills and assertiveness
• Your profile is completed by a very good level of written and spoken German and English
