Design engineer software (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will carry out the constructive and project-related processing and support of production plants, plant components and devices
• You will be responsible for the further development and optimization of the control software for plants for the production of CIGS absorber layers for thin-film solar modules
• You will supervise the immediate commissioning of the plants at the customer's site in Germany and abroad
• You perform functional tests on process equipment and evaluate them
• You will be responsible for the introduction and further development of plant control software for new process and plant requirements and program project-specific special functions
• You optimize processes with regard to efficiency, cost-effectiveness, product stability and reliability
• You create work instructions and documentation and train employees accordingly
• You create specifications for the awarding of software contracts and take care of obtaining quotations
• You will provide guidance and coordination for external software development

Requirements

• You have successfully completed your university degree in the field of electrical or automation engineering or a state-certified technician with a focus on electrical engineering
• In addition, you have already gained initial professional experience in software programming in the field of mechanical and plant engineering
• With the help of your distinct knowledge in structured software design, you have been leading projects to success for 2 years
• You can both design and program PLC systems
• Due to your certified further education you are able to develop and design CE-compliant high vacuum coating systems according to MRL 2006/42/EG ,DIN EN ISO 12100 and DIN EN 82079-1 as well as to carry out the corresponding risk assessment
• You have already proven your communication and assertiveness skills internationally, developing your intercultural competencies towards internal and external partners
• Your working method is structured and you have very good analytical skills which you apply in a solution-oriented manner, benefiting from your above-average commitment
• You are willing to travel to Asia from time to time
• You are able to use your language skills (German, English) in a business fluent manner at any time
