Your responsibilities
You provide technical advice, guidance and solutions in the design, commissioning and ramp of tools used for the production of photovoltaic solar modules, specifically in rapid thermal processes or material annealing processes.
In detail:
You are responsible for the preparation and supervision of tools move in into a factory on schedule;
On site you work together with suppliers to carry out the agreed inspection tests and pass the FFT
(final functional test) on time;
You prepare and execute the production plan from FFT to FAT (final acceptance test);
You provide on the job training to customer operation team;
You drive the technical alignment with the suppliers and the customer of the tools;
You implement SPC (Statistical Process Control) on the processes;
You are the main coordinator between head quarter and on site team on all coating related Topics.
Requirements
You have successfully completed your university or college degree in a technical field, prefered in material science, electrical or mechanical engineering;
In addition you have at least 2 years professional experience as process engineer at a photovoltaic, thin-film or semiconductor technology company;
Sound knowledge in solar module thermal processes, especially coating annealing knowledge is preferred;
You were able to gain in-depth experience in ramp-up projects with focus on (rapid) thermal processes;
You are familiar with critical to success project management tools, especially in definition of work packages, milestone trend and risk analysis;
You are prepared for a travel activity of up to 80% in China;
You are familiar with dealing with other cultures from abroad;
You have fluent spoken and written English skills and Chinese is your native language.
