Cheongju is a city in the province of Chungcheongbuk-do and capital of the same in South Korea. It is located about 35 kilometers north of Daejeon and 128 kilometers southeast of Seoul. Over 180 companies have built factories in Cheongju. There are six different universities. Here is also the seat of the provincial government of Chungcheongbuk-do the center of politics, administration, economy, education and culture.
