Your responsibilities
You manage investment projects in the operating environment of a CIS thin-film production line with a focus on: vacuum coating systems (PVD, CVD) and evaporation systems;
You define, specify, plan and procure production facilities and their acceptance;
You conduct technical negotiations with equipment manufacturers;
You oversee and help build and integrate CIS production lines in Asia;
You lead design reviews, monitor commissioning and lead the agreed acceptance tests;
You Communicate and safeguard corporate interests in the projects;
You further develop the system concepts to reduce costs and increase productivity;
You initiate and implement improvement projects in existing production lines.
Requirements
You have successfully completed your university or college degree in a technical or scientific field;
You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of large-scale plant engineering or special machine construction, preferably with knowledge of evaporation and sublimation processes, effusion cells and the ‘hot-wall’ concept;
You feel at home in the fields of automation, photovoltaics, process engineering, thin-film or semiconductor technology;
You have already gained at least 5 years of experience in the execution of investment projects for production facilities, ideally as a certified project manager (IPMA D or equivalent);
You are familiar with mission-critical project management tools;
You convince through pinpoint communication and inform 360 ° as required;
You are prepared for a travel activity of up to 80% in the Asian region. You are familiar with dealing with other cultures from abroad.
You have fluent spoken and written English skills and the language Mandarin can be used in everyday working life.
