You support investment projects in the operational environment of a CIS thin-film production line;
You provide tool specifications in alignment with the technical functions of existing fabs and in alignment with integration and automation requirements for approval by the project manager;
You support the process of tool evaluation and the supplier evaluation, order awarding and design freeze guided by the project manager;
You are responsible for correspondence with equipment manufacturers and technical negotiations;
You design acceptance tests in alignment with the technical functions of already existing facilities, the customers and project managers;
You support the development of plant concepts to reduce costs and increase productivity;
You plan, organize and run technical Training with the customer at the facilities;
You participate in improvement projects for specific production lines;
You have successfully completed your university or college degree in a technical field, ideally in mechanical and plant engineering, and have experience as an improvement engineer or maintenance engineer in a production company or at an equipment manufacturer;
In addition, you have already acquired knowledge in the fields of automation, photovoltaics, process engineering, thin-film or semiconductor technology;
You have already gained at least 2 years of experience in the execution of investment projects for production plants. Your budget responsibility for your work package was at least 50,000 €;
You bring in-depth experience in laser processing, glass surface treatment, and glass processing equipment
You are familiar with mission-critical project management tools;
You convince through pinpoint communication and inform 360 ° as required;
You are prepared for a travel activity of up to 80% in the Asian region. You are familiar with dealing with other cultures from abroad.
You have fluent spoken and written English skills and the language Mandarin can be used in everyday working life.
