Our experience of CIS production in California, together with our owners' visions, have inspired us to manufacture products of incomparably high quality: as well as the superlative properties of CIS technology itself, AVANCIS modules are remarkable thanks to their oustanding long-term stability – with a performance and operating stability of at least 20 years. Added to this is the fact that thin-film modules can be produced "more easily", since the production stages are not as extensive, materials-intensive and complex as the production of thick-film modules. From the delivery of the substrate to the labeling of the module, AVANCIS take just under a mere 30 steps. But one thing applies throughout - careful production worthy of the label "made in Germany".
THE ELEMENT OF SUCCESS: UNCOMPROMISING QUALITY ASSURANCE.
No question about it: AVANCIS knows that quality control comes before success. We have implemented 60 quality checks in our module production system – and 88 measuring points for continuously monitoring the process data. But that isn’t enough for us. To achieve continuous improvement and make optimum use of the recorded values, we use the databased statistical quality management method Six Sigma. This accelerates technological development and guarantees that our customers receive products of the utmost quality. Even before production started, we were certified according to the industrial quality management standard ISO 9001.
