Our PowerMax® solar modules can only be obtained from our sales partners. To obtain a photovoltaics system with PowerMax® modules, please contact our exclusive, certified AVANCIS wholesalers. They will be pleased to put together a quote for you with a cost-effectiveness breakdown.
Can I buy a photovoltaics system from you?
No. AVANCIS only makes the modules. For a photovoltaics system, you need other components such as frames and inverters. Please contact one of our sales partners. They will plan the ideal photovoltaics system for you from start to finish.
How do you safeguard the high quality of your PowerMax® modules?
AVANCIS safeguards the quality of its PowerMax® solar modules through a range of different instruments. For example, we have been ISO 9001:2000-certified since we started production. This is a standard recognised for quality assurance throughout the industry.
The ISO 14001:2004 standard also means that we are sure our business is environmentally friendly and sustainable.
We use over 88 measuring points along our production process to meticulously check our products. If the result does not meet our customers' expectations, then it does not bear the name PowerMax®

What types of modules does AVANCIS manufacture?
AVANCIS manufactures CIS photovoltaics modules ((C) copper, (I) indium and (S) selenium). This technology has been well known since the early 1970s. CIS technology is one of the thin-film technologies in photovoltaics and achieves the highest levels of efficiency.
How tried-and-tested is the technology that AVANCIS uses?
The product developers at AVANCIS have knowledge built up since 1981 and which brings together all the experience and patents from the CIS pioneering companies Arco Solar, Siemens and Shell in one of the world's most state-of-the-art production methods.
Is your PowerMax® module suitable for all applications?
Yes, we have developed the module - not just in terms of cost-effectiveness - to handle the most exacting demands. With its elegant design, PowerMax® is versatile - be it on a roof, façade or anywhere - as well as being extremely robust and can withstand even heavy wind and snow loads.
Is a photovoltaics system with CIS modules more cost-effective than one with crystalline modules?
Yes. 60 - 70% of the costs of a photovoltaics system are costs relating to investment in the modules. CIS thin-film modules have the highest levels of efficiency of all the modules and an excellent price/performance ratio.
