The graduate engineer studied material science at the University of Erlangen, going on to hold various roles as production and plant manager at Saint-Gobain Deutschland GmbH. Since 2006, Mr. Hoheisel has been project manager at AVANCIS for the construction of the solar factory in Torgau, Saxony, and has been Director and COO since 2007.
