Tom Clarius holds a doctorate in toxicology / occupational medicine and has been a valued member of the AVANCIS team since 2006. In 2007, Dr. Clarius was appointed Director of Quality Health Safety and Environmental Affairs. Back in 1989, Dr. Clarius worked at Shell Research in its toxicology department and then held posts in the HSE division of Shell Chemicals International. Following this, he moved to the Marketing & Sales division, where he held various managerial positions with international responsibility. Between 2001 and 2006, Dr. Clarius, who held the title of Six Sigma Black Belt, was in charge of quality management and process optimisation in Shell Chemicals International's Polymers division.
