Dr. Franz Karg is a graduate physicist with numerous publications and lectures on the subject of photovoltaics. Back in 1987, Dr. Karg joined Siemens AG to establish and develop the research and development department for CIS technology. After his move to Siemens Solar, Dr. Karg took over the management of CIS development in the FORSOL research association. Since 2007, he has been Managing Director and CTO at AVANCIS.
