The AVANCIS solar module plant and the production-related research facility for sustainable and cost-effective further development of CIS technology are located right in the heart of 'Solar Saxony', Germany's solar stronghold.

Our international team of almost 500 employees ensures that, since production began in 2008, everything is geared towards a single result: to make AVANCIS the quality and cost leader on the photovoltaics market. The anual production capacity for our CIS solar modules is currently 120 MWp, however the next stage is already in the pipeline – after all, continuous improvement is a matter of course for us.

Our third solar plant is currently under construction in South Korea and will start producing state-of-the-art CIS solar modules with a total capacity of 100 MWp per year in 2012.
