The module's size of over 1 m² and the favourable frame aspect ratio (0.011 m/Wp for Pnom: 120 Wp) reduce the frame and installation costs compared to other thin-film modules. The good voltage-to-power ratio (Vsys: 1,000 V, Voc: 59.7 V, Pnom: 120 Wp) allows a large number of modules to be connected in series which keeps the cabling costs down, particularly compared to other contemporary thin-film technologies.
Installing a photovoltaic system with PowerMax® solar modules is particularly easy, as numerous installers confirm. This significantly reduces the work involved in installing your photovoltaic system and effectively saves costs.
Once the substructure is in place, the modules are conveniently installed using clamps and the mounting lip provided for this purpose in the shadow gap of each individual solar module. Four M6 holes are additionally provided for mounting from the back. PowerMax® modules are also designed for building-integrated installation (solar roofs, solar façades).
